I just installed the Baserunner Z9, I did the setup as required, motor auto tune, battery parameters and such. However I have no throttle control or pedal assist now. I have the Superharness and 600C display from Grin Technologies, checked all connections, even updated the firmware. Still nothing...
Somebody please help me 🙏🙏

Without knowing what settings you have for everyting in both the superharness / display, and the baserunner, as well as your complete wiring and what specific devices are attached, it's hard to give any suggestions.

Some questions:

Did the system ever work correctly?

If not, we'd need to know complete details about everything to figure out which thing is not connected correclty, is incompatible, is set incorrectly, or is broken, to help you correct the problem(s) and get it working.

If it did used to work correctly, what *exactly* and *specifically* was changed, which specific settings, from what, to what, just before it stopped working?

If no settings were changed, what hardware, wiring, or parts were changed, just before it stopped working?

If no settings or hardware were changed, what specifically happened to the system just before it stopped working?

It's a fresh install, Baserunner Z9, Superharness, 600C, purchased together from Grin. I have a 36v system, Bafang G020 350w hub. I ran the auto tune and the motor spun up smoothly. All other parameters setup as default or changed for the Superharness, I'm not running the Cycle Analyst. I have a twist throttle which I was using with the previous controller and a basic 12 magnet PAS sensor. It's acting like the throttle and PAS are not throwing any signals. On the Superharness, the red and green lights are on steady, when I twist the throttle, the green light does not get brighter, when I apply the brakes, the green light goes off and the red light gets brighter. Is it possible the throttle and PAS are not pinned correctly for the Superharness?

Some questions, since I don't have specific info on any of the items you have or how they are wired, so you will have to check these things:

What is the wiring on the throttle and PAS you have? What does the SH itself expect?

Are they correctly connected to the right connectors? (a PAS usually outputs an on/off signal, while a throttle outputs a range of voltage over it's travel; swapping them will not provide the expected signals to the controller and it won't be able to respond as expected)

THere are at least two types of throttle: potentiometer and hall. Each has a different voltage range (and there are variants of both types with further different ranges). Is the system setup to expect the correct voltage range for the specific throttle you have?

There are several types of PAS cadence sensor. Even ones using just three wires have different types of signal they could output. Is the system setup for the kind you have? (you can see Grin's PAS info page for some of the various types of signals they can output) Was this sensor used (and working) with the previous system like the throttle was?

I haven't used the SH: What are the red and green lights on the SH intended to tell you, and how should they behave for normal operation? What does the lighting you get from them represent, according to it's manual?

I’m sure you are, but just checking to make sure, youre doing your testing at all assist levels, correct? I have a similar display that I’ve only been using a month (the menu structure is similar, same for factor, etc.) and still getting used to the default start up at level 0.
