This is my first electric bike build. I knew nothing much before about Ebikes but thanks to this forum.
The bike I bought was a GT Aggressor 3.0 Large (19" i think) $400.
The kit I bought was a Golden Motor kit. Ze Black Magic one. The battery is their 48v 10ah battery . - $1000
I assembled the bike, tested it out and it's extremely comfortable.
This is the front derailleur.

Rear Derailleur.

Aluminium frame dropouts

SR Suntour Fork

This is the steel case I built for it. Those ugly looking dots and bits near the key hole and on the bottom left were duct tape but, I cleaned that out. - It's currently matte black to match the bike.

The build is actually complete but I just need to take some more photos.
The first time I got on it to test out the motor, it was amazing. All this extra power was great (that amazing feeling of being pushed). I driven on the street, commuted several times, had it died on me couple of times (I know its not good). I love taking off faster than cars and leading the way for 50 meters (lol).
You guys may think I'm crazy but I got accustomed to the speed and 30mph isn't enough. I was planning for a 60mph upgrade but 50mph is more realistic. I'll be travelling to the US soon to get some lipos and a proper controller.
