Hello everyone,

I am working on an ASI BAC2000 integration project and am hitting a wall with Error 24. Here is the technical context:

  • Diagnostics: Motor Hall sensors and wiring have been verified and tested successfully on a different controller. Continuity and voltages are within specs.
  • Symptoms: The controller throws an H24 error immediately upon initialization.
  • Setup: I have verified all power connections (B+, B-, Phases). The setup is electrically sound, yet the logic fault persists.
I have professional diagnostic tools and experience in electronics, but I lack access to the ASI software suite to pull the fault log or verify the configuration parameters. Is there a supported path for individual integrators to access the configuration software, or is this exclusively reserved for OEM partners? Any guidance on resolving this H24 state without software access, or a referral to a certified integrator who can assist, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

I can't help you with this specific error description, but I can help you access the controller to read the error codes in plain text.
Since I have never used the BAC 2000 myself, I don't know off the top of my head which chipset it uses. However, if it's the 6xxx chipset like the newer controllers use, you can get access to the controller using the Kilowatt app.
Additionally, there is the Bacdoor PC Suite (the older version doesn't require any login credentials), which allows you to establish a connection via a TTL cable.
