Help Needed: Rewiring Torn Controller Wires on XDS E-City E-Bike (C6_LD_V1.0 PCB)

Hi all! I’ve got an XDS E-City electric folding bike (36V, 250W), and I’m dealing with a controller wiring issue. Several wires tore loose from the PCB. I had orange, green, brown, and black wires connected, while purple and white seemed unused or recessed. I’m unsure exactly where each should go. The PCB has labeled pads—GND, SL (signal), and 5V0 (+5V). I can see solder on two pads, but not all of them, so I’m not sure if connections are missing. The PCB is labeled C6_LD_V1.0 if that helps. If anyone has guidance—or better yet, an actual wiring diagram for this PCB—I’d really appreciate it before I power it up. Thanks!

Use a continuity test to determine the destinations of the disconnected wires to help narrow down and identify what is what.. As to where on the pcb?? ali-express ads will often contain spec docs/pics.. but if we can help you id say a motor sensor input, we can also perhaps point you towards where to look for that missing connection, or the other wires likely to be close by.. ?? perhaps?

Ill also check AliExpress for the circuit board diagram as this will give me the clearest picture of how to repair. To buy a replacement they are trying to charge me $250...

It sounds more complex ;) simply its using a multimeter set to diode/beep mode so that when you touch the probes the meter will beep at you this will let u test the continuity between two wire ends (are they connected?).. -using big words to sound impressive ;)

Edit - no multimeter?? a 3v coin cell and a led with a few bits of wire can make a diy tester..

Hi. Thanks again and at the risk of sounding stupid i understand the concept of continuity, just not sure how to use this to determine which wire needs to be connected where. Ill read up on it tomorrow and hopefully find some clarity. I don't think it will be as easy as listening for a constant beep when touching a wire and the board and soldering 🤣🤣🤣. Ill read up tomorrow and try to find some guides.
 
My bad, i responded to your post without reminding myself of the thread topic and previous posts. given you can google for generic system julet connection pinouts -lots of results are bound to reflect back in here ;) you could IF NEEDED use a continuity test to ID the wire connected to each pin...

What is the disconnected wire/lead used for? if lights, forget it and spend a fraction of the time on a diy lighting hook up straight from the battery pack.. If a sensor input, yeah, time to break out the magnifying glass and good lighting to search for hints of pcb damage, mm by mm.. Continuity will help here as most sensor inputs supply logic voltage and a signal connection, Logic voltage and ground can be identified with continuity ground probably by simply using the battery -ve in terminal as a reference, logic voltage (?5v) might require a lil homework/help??
 
In context, it's important to know where that connector went. I believe the motor cable looks intact on your controller, It's not the display cable because that would have more wires. The latter would also connect any throttle, as well as the brakes. The pedal sensor only needs three wires, and usually has a smaller connector,

That leaves front/rear lights and horn, If it is that stuff, as pointed out by ffll, forget about it, Wire the lights with an aklternate method,
