So I have to be the unluckiest person on this forum. Bought an eBay kit that arrived DOA, I ended up fixing it instead of paying return shipping (phase wires https://www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=60334) and I have been pretty satisfied with the bike the last two weeks. That is until yesterday when the bike stopped working, I have put less than 200 miles on this thing. Took everything apart and tested and it turns out the controller is busted. Everything else is giving me the same readings as before except no power from the phase wires. I have checked and rechecked everything about a million times. Can you guys recommend me a good controller ? I plan on using this bike 5X a week so I am willing to spend a little bit more for a better controller that will last. I know i will have to splice some wires.

Are these any good ?

Impossible to properly recommend a controller without knowing the specs on your battery pack.

I have a 16 ah 36V battery, planning on upgrading to 48V for more speed same amp hours.

You'll want your new controller to match your new battery pack. That means if the battery pack is capable of 30A (not AH) then you don't want a controller that will draw more than 30A. Lots, of 48V controllers on ebay. I wouldn't go with less than a 12 fet. Here's one that will work.

The connectors on that one match mine exactly, have you guys bought anything form aliexpress ? is it safe ?

I've never had a problem, but I always use paypal just in case. You can probably find the same or similar controller on ebay, but it will likely come from China too.
