Help with basic electrical upgrade

Hi everybody. I’m new here and new to e-bikes. I spent months searching for an affordable a decent e-bike online I looked far and wide and settled on this bike:

It’s a 48v 15a battery the motor is 1000w with a pedal of 1500w. I’m attempting to teach my self the number. Im going to open the controller up tonight and see what it lists its amps out put on that is. But ion my understanding is that if I buy a 48v 20 a battery I will be able to travel further and run the motor more efficiently? Or should I upgrade the battery and controller? Or should I upgrade to 52v? What would y’all do to upgrade this bike for better performance?
