Hello everybody,
I have a 250w chinese controller, 24V. It has a wire labeled as 'high level brake'. But if you look to PCB, it is connected with U phase (motor wires). But there is an EMPTY terminal on PCB, labeled as '"BH". Measurement tool shows about 12V between this "high level brake" wire (actually motor U phase) and ground when motor is running.
1. I don't tried to apply battery positive to this "high level brake wire" because now I am not sure that it will be ok)).
2. Is it some kind of electic parking brake??
3. There is also "EBS" empty terminal. So, I have to connect it to ground to activate this function. But actually I don't understand yet what this function is for? Regeneration or just power consuming active braking, not just motor cut off?
Thank you

It's not high-level brake if it's soldered to the phase, it's the speedometer signal wire then.
EBS is regenerative braking. Bridging the tiny EBS pads should enable its function.
BH is more likely to be the actual Brake high.
I'm not sure what EBS1 is though.

You should be careful with the online instructions.
I bought a Controller recently and according to the picture it should have been throttle compatible but it wasn't.
So what I'm trying to say is that you don't always get the Controller that's on the listing.
