I'm calling an audible! I need a quick way to make sure my Lipo Packs are balanced. Right now I can check Total Voltage using my WattMeter, If I want to check individual cells then I have to hook up to my charger.

I Want to know your opinion on HobbyKing's. That is given what they do which one would you buy.

I bought the $30 Hobby-King LiPo 2S-6S pack-Tracker. It has a green/red LED for each cell and a buzzer when any cell reaches the low-voltage zone.

I couldn't get it to work, even after I realized the label was on backwards (label includes the + and - symbols). Maybe I just got a bad unit, or perhaps the Trackers mini-LiPo battery was too low to operate the device. I didn't know It needed a BEC socket to plug in to a charger, or I would have ordered one when I bought the Tracker (a BEC pigtail is cheap).

I will clip off the plug and charge it with alligator clips for now. Perhaps it will work then. I am disappointed in the paper instructions it came with (pics are small and fuzzy, text is vague and confusing), and I would have preferred a viewable/downloadable guide in the 'files' section of the sales page on the web-site, just like some of their other devices.

In spite of these difficulties, its a good idea, but poorly executed. I have read confusing instructions for other devices, then found good info in the discussion tab on the sales page (in several languages). Apparently nobody else has been able to decifer the paper instruction, in order to post clear info on the discussion page.

In spite of the negative comments on the feedback tab, I bought this specifically because it was wireless, and I was going to attach the readout to the handlebars with velcro, so I could slap it on, and then pocket it as needed without fussing with plugs.
