Hoping one of you can help me solve this weird problem I'm having.

I am using 2x ME118's on a GEN4 Sevcon driver's, with a 250kg flywheel attached to their bearings.
I have been able to run both of the motors up to around 2800rpm until they pretty much give up trying; with a target RPM of 3000.
You can see the amp draw decreasing, with no way it will reach the target, etc.

I have tried playing with the gain values, playing with the torque curve, calibrating the encoder (although graphing in excel because I cant physically spin my motor quick enough), etc. But unfortuantly, I can seem to make it past those cutoff values.

This is happening on both motors, but one has had its poles flipped to get the spin going in the right direction.

Anyone have any ideas? Any tips for getting past this? Happy to provide any info required.
