Hello, fellow ebikers,

I have accidentally damaged the feed cable on my Bafang C311 (also known as 8FUN - nomen omen).

Not sure if "feed cable" is the proper name but to be clear is the one shown in this image:

Can't find any documentation online on how to repair the damage.

Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading!

Damaged where? right where it enters the motor?

Open the motor. Then push the damaged section farther into the motor. Once you have it inside the shell, make your repair, so its inside. Remove the insulating cover, and repair the wire that actually got cut. Now your wire is shorter, but only about an inch or so, and its cover is intact where it enters the motor.

If you want to replace the whole wire, its similar. make your splices inside. That looks like a plug they call a HIGO.

FWIW, I think Grin Tech http://ebikes.ca carries replacment cables with Juliet / Julet connectors on them.

I cant' see your image (appears to be remotely linked to a site I can't access, rather than attached to the post), so I don't knwo what the damage to your motor cable looks like or what kind of connector it has, so what Grin carries may or may not work.
