After changing my motor from Y to delta, I experience some strange hall sensor signals:
at first it seems the hall signals are delayed by 30 degrees due to the mod, so I added a half hall-tick delay in the firmware of my controller, and after it expires, the commutation switches in the next state (trapezoidal commutation). It is ok until the load is not very high.
But under heavy load at higher current (80A phase), the motor sometimes falls out of sync. It looks like the hall sensors are influenced by the magnetic field of the stator coils (because they sit right in the grooves on the poles...), so they seem to detect the resultant field of the magnets and the coils. I think it causes the sync problem, but this is just a guess.
Has anyone experienced something similar, and what could be the solution?
