I want to start my first build but i'm running against some problems.

the bike has a 150mm dropout and most hub motors are for a 135mm or (145mm with for a hub with casette).

Do you have any suggestions or links for a Hub motor or a kit for my build? i'm From EU zo I want to buy from aliexpress sent from a EU warehouse or something.

Kind regards,
have a nice day

Post a picture of the frame please, or a link

It's a stromer st1 frame

If the dropout is 150mm then you should be able to pack out the excess with spacers (washers).
At 145mm your frame will have enough flex to take up the 5mm anyway.

Thanks for the feedback.
So I can go with a 1500w with a 142mm width
It's a 135mm motor I think with a hub on it for a casette.

I Found also a motor with a 150mm dropout.
The qs 205 v3

I can buy a second hand set, near new. Nearby my home.
Qs 205 v3
72v 60a sine wave continous controller
72v 25ah battery pack.

Is this a good combination for a stromer st1 frame or is this to much for a ebike build.

Thanks

QS205 V3 is a beast. With a 60amp controller it will never, ever die!

I stuff 225 battery and 450 phase amps into mine.

If it’s a good price buy it.
