Last year was in Japan working with the US Army and wanted to get around so I began looking to ebikes however being a big man at 300 lbs I needed more than the little bikes they sell in Japan so I built my own, I started with a 29" mountain bike and found a 1000 W motor by befang a controller by Lynn with a cycle Annalist 2.3 last a cali 20amp hr battery and many other small parts. I am now retired and live on the coast in WA. ride every day that is dry and with PAS I can travel all day and by just power at 20mph I can travel about 30 miles. I have the top speed set at 25 mph but have opened it up a few times to above 40.
Already planning a new build for the next fall. Ebikes are a great way to retire.

That seat is an ergonomically correct seat that does not put pressure on your man parts. If you search for ergonomic seat you will find it.

Nice, thats generally the idea.

What seat is that?

Being a big man I needed a better seat this is great for me.

Interesting, I might have to give one a go. I have been using a SMP Selle TRK, but its contact points are very specific, and they are pretty sore by the end of the week... Cheers!

That Schwinn No Pressure is the one that has been on my electric bike now for years. I just put an el cheapo phoney sheep skin cover on it to protect it from the sun. Before that I turned the original cruiser seat around backwards to get relief, but it moved the riding position too far forward. Someday I might try a Hobson/Easyseat on my mountain bike, the much more expensive Moonsaddle is junk. Schwinn for the win, again.
