can anyone tell me how i might be able increase the speed of my ezip trailz? it is the model with the lead bat. mounted on the rack. will a fully charged bat. run faster than one that is only half charged?

Hi Shane...
More Volts = more speed and that's dependant on if your controller can take it though.
You'll lose some speed as the batteries discharge down.Pedaling on startup then ramp up the throttle slowly.Doing this saves battery time. Sla need to be charged right after a ride.

So is it possible to just mount 3 x 12v 12ah batteries to a eZip Mountain Trailz Bike, I have both battery boxes for both sides of the bike would it be possible to put one battery in the spare battery box and connect both boxes together so i would have 3 batteries to make it 36v?

I hope this makes sense I am new to modding

Exactly. You'll need to wire them in series, meaning that the positive of one battery connects to the negative of the next, and so on.

It'll be an easy way to add more speed, and more range at the same speed.

You might consider just keeping your 24V packs if they are still good and building a separate 36V battery. On longer rides, I have the 24V battery on one side and a 36V 7Ah (3 x 12V) battery wired to the other side. That way I can use the ezip's battery toggle to switch between the "fast" battery and the "efficient" battery depending on the driving conditions.
