Infineon R12 regen voltage mod abnormality?

I was just going to modify my R12 resistor from 1.2K to 1K to increase regen above 75V (https://sites.google.com/site/shelbyelectro/controllers-and-electronics/controllers/infenion-high-voltage-regen-r12-mod).

When I opened my MCU I probed R12 with my fluke dmm and it measured .894K ohms? Is this a bad resistor, or intentional?

Try using a different scale on your meter. Looks like you're using the x1K scale. Try the x100, x10, or x1 scale. And make sure you have a good battery in it.

I use a fluke all day at work. I've tried another meter and it too reports 894 ohms.

How did he do it so you couldn't see it. My non Infenion 72V controller also had a 1200 ohm resistor. It had an LVC of 62V and regen wouldn't work above 78V. I found that lowering it to 800 ohm raised LVC to 84V and allowed regen to work to 100V.
