Is anybody actually using an Ego battery pack on their bike?

I want a name-brand 10 ah pack for my upcoming build, but am having trouble feeling the warm fuzzies for a "Real" ebike battery online. Tried pulling the trigger on a Shark from EM3ev, but their web page isn't buying my zip code... And who knows what the shipping time will be?

I would guess that form factor and need for ventilation are the main issues with EGO batteries.

OTOH, I can pick one up at the local hardware store.

What has your experience been?

They easily put out more amps than the 30A used by the BBSHD. There's a thread around here with ebikes using EGO packs.

I have the mower, weed-trimmer, and leaf-blower. A 2.5, 5.0, and 7.5-Ah packs. Happy with them so far.

Might be worth buying the mower, just to get a 5 ah pack and charger. Not sure if you have a lawn, but sometimes the cheap way to get a battery and the charger is buy the tool.

I just bought the mower, and really like it compared to my old 24v mower. Real good warranty on the battery.

You would have to rig bag to carry it, and a connector to run it.
