"The secret to their success lies in blending a rubber-like polymer with a conductive, liquid electrolyte into a thin, flexible film of gel that sits between the battery electrodes."

"The polymer gel looks like a solid film, but it actually contains about 70% liquid electrolyte,"

Yeah, had my fill of vaporware by 1970. Where's my personal hovercraft? Where's my nuke power too cheap to meter?

Cool though, that there is competition and research going on in batteries. Somebody has to do something, or the leeches won't be able to fund and suck dry the start ups.

Re the actual battery, anything that makes lipo less unstable is a dang good thing. Wish HK was selling em now.

Yeah... I have realize that a lot of things are vaporware until you actually have it in hand. This include stuff I do at work. We all claim that it will work better than specs, a lot cheaper, and release next week, but it rarely happens. I think we need to go back to the good old day where things were not advertised until they actually were in the marketplace.

Errr ? .. what is the connection between Gell Lipo and a Husky ?

Maybe you ment to link to this ..
...The ( Gell cell) technology was developed by Ian Ward, a Research Professor of Physics at Leeds. It has been licensed to American company Polystor Energy Corporation, which is in the process of conducting trials in preparation for commercialization.
