I was doing some poking around online. I was looking for some place close to home to pick up some new bearings without driving across town to my usual place I get bearing from . I came across this little shop and I was quite surprised at what they had. looks like a hobby shop and small scale engineering supply shop all rolled into one  :D Just about to jump in the car and check it out .

looks to have everything from small gearboxes, carbon fiber, motors, bearing, belts, sprag clutches all the good stuff we use. A lot of odd small things.

anyhow could be a useful online shop for the AU guys http://www.hobbyparts.com.au/store/categories/belts/

Interesting shop in Australia. They carry an intriguing belt that is shaped like a chain and uses a conventional-looking sprocket. The sprockets I glanced at all have a tiny pilot bore, and they specify that the customer is to bore out the center hole to match the customers shaft. I wonder if the teeth are hardened, but the central part of the sprocket is still soft steel?...

I found that website years ago. All looks great.....until you see the prices. Their niche market is people who need parts FAST due to expensive downtime and are willing to pay for it.

No they are not cheap.

I went there today to get some bearings and have a look. I am sure if I went to CBC I could get the same bearings for a couple of dollars cheaper. They are negotiable on there list prises. Anyhow they are a shop that has a go at everything rather than specialise in one thing . So there not the best hobby shop or best small engineering supply shop . Its a bit like Bunnings hardware. Its over priced and so on. Some times you find your self going there because its handy to get everything at the one place.

It was nice to be able to buy the bearings have a poke around at rc gear at the same time sifting through there run out bins.

I will put it in my little black book encase I need something quirky.

Just about anything you could be looking for, reasonable prices too.
Although I think they are based in the states.
