Kelly Android App - Speed value

I’m in the process of adjusting the settings for a KLS7275H controller using the Kelly Android app over Bluetooth.

I see from the manual that the max speed is set to 4000 rpm and sure enough the motor (QS 17” 4000W) is maxing our at this figure when I look at the monitor section of the app.

Does anyone know if this figure really is RPM?

Adjusted my controller settings for max speed setting.

Kelly app now reporting motor at 5,500 RPM - clearly it can be nowhere near this figure for what is only a 4Kw hub motor set into a 17” wheel. If it was that the bike (albeit unloaded as on a paddock stand) would be doing over 300mph!

Anyone got any idea what this speed/RPM figure is actually measuring?

I’ve set the right number of poles for the motor in the app btw
