Hello guys, For long i've been lurking and gathering info for my build. This forum is extremely helpful and shout-out to anybody who shares interesting info!
And it is time to finally introduce my (kind of second) build.
Starting base is old dh frame fitted with polycarbonate side covers wrapped in carbon tape.
Estimate power of this build should be 72V nominal * 80Amps = 5800W

I am wondering whether standard mxus wires (awg13 ??) will handle that much. Max phase current is 200A on this controller.

Frame: Kona Stinky 2004
Controller: Sabvoton svmc 72080
Motor: MXUS 3000 V1
Battery: 72V 28AH Sanyo 3500mah GA Cells rated @ 80A
Charger: 10amp chinese "weizekang"
Breaks: Shimano SLX BR-M675
Tire: Kenda shorttracker on front and Hookworm on rear
Wheel Size: 26"
Rims: mavic on front and Hub is laced in PowerCircle (bought laced from mxus)
Forks: Marzochhi 888 vf2 2006
Rear Suspension: fox vanilla r
Handlebars: Spank Spike 777 cut to ~660

Battery is not finished yet because i need come up with idea how to mount it inside frame and then i will know how much space is left. 160Cells must fit 8)

I'll think you are fine with standard wires. If you push past 9-10 kw you might need to upgrade wires. It comes down to how hard you will push your ride like climbing, accelerating etc.

When you ride you can feel the wires after you push a lot of amps. If they are getting too hot to touch beefier wires will be the solution. If not you are fine.

Anyway guys, i went with adaptto. Sold Sabvoton. Battery will be 20s9p Sanyo's GA. And got MXUS v3 TURBO

why you sold the sabvoton?

I got good offer on Adaptto and sabvoton was too big in my opinion. It wouldn't fit as nicely as adaptto.

I went today for the first ride. It is really awesome!
90A batt, 200A phase and this bike flies!
OVS speed 123Km/h
Max power on screen 6.9kW It is the same feeling like you would have in 250Hp+ car.
On the other side mxus motor is powerful but heating is an issue with such power. Quickly rises above 100C and stays there with limited current.

Fixed heating problems by tweaking adaptto advanced settings and changing phase combo. Now i have Phase Angle near 0degrees and increased PWR timing to ~1.5 from 0.5 and it drastically improved performance and reduced heating issue. Now i can ride my 10km commute without any limiting. In the end the temp is still above 100Celcius but it does not rise so quick as before.

What muxus motor are you running ? Are you using a bike rim or ?

It is mxus v3 16x4T winding. But model without bended magnets. It is laced from mxua factory in 35mm width rim.
Spokes are 12g from what i remember.

It is running at 6kw and max 8kw without problems.
Already 2700km done
