KX250F Conversion

Electro & Co. QS138/Votol EM260 with Amorge battery.
Seems to work well although I've only had it out on a couple of short test rides on the street.
It was built to ride rough single-track in the rocky bush of Eastern Ontario so I'm guessing the throttle might be a little too sensitive. Electro & Co has been singularly unhelpful with tuning mods, suggesting only their programmers can do it and anything else will void the warranty. WTF?
Any wisdom here on E-S for tuning?
Comments/questions on the build are welcome, as would be pointers or links to tuning the Controller...I do have some very rusty and minimal programming experience.
BTW, No KX parts were harmed in this build, everything fit without mods to the frame, gas tank, etc!

If that's a regular Votol, you should only need a programming cable and Votol software. There's a lot of info on the forum; I have the same controller and motor in my build #1 so you might want to peek at my settings there as well.

I like your battery tray/box. Is that a custom piece you made or commercially available? How is it secured to the frame?

Thanks, I made it, from 0.080 thick aluminum plate cut on a table saw, annealed and bent up on a big vise. Right side of the box is bolted on and not removable with the battery in place, left side is removable and clipped in only with cheapo toggle clamps from Amz. so that the battery can slide in and out. The battery itself is clamped down with standard ratchet-straps.
Everything is good except the toggle clamps, they seem too soft to hold up for long.
The box itself is secured in just two locations, front to the original frame front motor mounts and rear to the QS top motor bracket. So far so good, it's carrying the full 50lbs. of the battery.
This was the first go, and there's room for improvement. But it was put through it's paces on a recent 2 hour test ride and came through just fine!

Got it set up today and connected. Works. Now I just need to figure out what these settings mean.
