hi i have a 72v sla pack at the moment and was wondering if these batts 20x CR123A 123 123A 1800mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Battery from ebay would be suitable for builing ebike pack? good price any advice? also could they be charged with sla charger ? could i solder these togeather with suitable batt tags regards

Not even remotely usable... an Ebike would drain them in about 10 seconds and kill them in the process...

Rechargeable 123A ARE NORMALLY 750-900 MAH. If they are GTL brand, they mark them 1200, 1800, 2000 but they are all actually 550 MAH. That size used to be common for cameras but now its used more for flashlights and - apparently - charging up some sort of electric cigarette?

CR123A are usually not recheargeable. A 3v Primary (non-rechargeable) battery with about 1900 MAH.

When they make rechargeable batteries the same size, they are 750-1000 mah. But some are 3.6v, some 3.2 and some
are 3.2 altered to run at 3.0. But then they are called rcr123, lr123a, 16340, 17335

I suspect you are confusing those with the hi power a123-M1 cells , often discussed on these forums.
They are VERY different !
