Anybody have any experience with this bike? Thoughts? Good price point?

For that price, I would expect a 48 volt setup. But I do like the frame on this bike. A lot of people are lengthening the rear swing arm on their bikes. Some at a great expense to do so. So for a bike to already come with an extended arm, and still under 2K. That's not all that bad. The forks look decent, I can't make out the brand, but they at least look somewhat capable. The rear shock is a POS, toss it. Other than that, I don't know if I would trust big hits on that rear arm with anything heavy like an X5 in it. But for street use it would be fine. All in all not a bad looking bike.

The glaring problem with this bike, and many others, is that they design the battery too small for the motor. So you end up paying about $500 for a battery worth $300 at best. Then it doesn't have that much range, and is getting used at a c rate that is doable on paper, but is likely to damage the battery before it should wear out. If you have a ride less than 7 miles distance on flat ground this battery will work fine. But if you need to climb a big hill to get home every day, you could kill it relatively quick.

That bike without the battery might be a good deal for $700 or so. If you could get it for about a thou with battery
it could be worth it, and replace the battery later.

The bike itself is basicly wallbike category, in the under $200 ballpark.

Another imported chinese bike under a different brand name. I've seen these bikes under a dozen names.

Build your own, you'll have better results. I guarantee it.

MAC motor on a cheap but brand name dual suspension bike with some RC Lipo or even an appropriately sized ping battery will kick this thing's ass, and you will have a legitimate warranty on all parts rather than be left in the dust by the vendor 90 days down the road.

I built this for about $1300. Every part you see here is very high quality. It's lighter than the bike you're looking at. It's faster than the bike you're looking at. And it will sure as hell be more dependable over the long run.

DIY!

I'd tend to choose the R martin over that one too. Would love to find the liberty dragon with no charger at the flea for about $100 though.
