Hi Ebike gurus

i have a 48V LiFePO4 battery pack with a 20 Amp BMS
which has only one XT60 plug ( +ve red wire and - ve black wire )
for powering the Controller and charging purposes.

i need to disconnect the XT60 plug from the Controller
and than connect it to my Battery charger (5 amp)
in order to charge the battery pack.

does this sound right ? ? ? only one XT60 plug to supply
power and do charging of battery pack.

i have seen 48V battery packs which has two separate
XT60 plugs coming out of the battery pack,
one for Power to the Controller & one for
connecting to the battery charger for charging.

Yes, either way works. Some BMS require separate paths, dual port rather than single

You could wire up a parallel splitter if you want.

Yes, I have installed single port BMS on some of my battery packs, so I could charge/discharge from the same port, and also because it's a little safer when running in parallel. Allows me to charge in parallel too.

LOL. Then I got tired of looking for my XT60 adapters to put on my charger's 5.5.mm plug to recharge. I ended up paralleling a round charge socket.
