Looking for a basic ANALOGUE ebike 'METER' LED DISPLAY.

Hi.

Just that - looking for an analogue display for a Pendleton Somerby. These '790'-style units just have red LEDs to indicate assist level and battery state, but - more importantly - they communicate with the controller via a voltage change, such as 2V for Assist '1', 3V for '2' and 4V for Assist '3'.

There are countless 790, 810, G20 etc types displays that look the same, but every one I've tracked down uses UART or similar - they won't work.

(Yes, I know the alternative solution is to replace the controller and use a different display which would likely also 'improve' the bike, but the wiring in the Somerby is sooo neat that I'm loath to splice into it. Just 'power' and three wee plugs into the controller.)

You might want one like this to support the lights. Make sure you get one that matches your battery 24, 36, or 48V.

That one, tho', does seem to suggest it's '02OMD' comms protocol, which implies 'digital'?

The Somerby doesn't have lights in any case, so the only extra feature that's 'required' - and barely - is the 'walk'.

I'm going to take a punt on Stancecoke's link, and keep fingers crossed. I've since fitted a new fascia cover on the old display, but it isn't as tactile as the original, so will need a replacement.
