I've wondered how many lumens those surfaces put out per square inch, based on the video, it doesn't seem very bright but maybe it gets brighter. Reflective surfaces certainly don't hurt, but for my money, www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030BS30K/ something like this, radbot 1000, seems hard to beat if you really want to be seen. A flashing 1w LED will probably be spotted even in a blizzard or fog. There are brighter options, but you have to start to wonder about being obnoxious, even a 10w directional LED headlight seems to bother some people.
However, for the cool factor, something like lumilor seems like a winner.
