Hey just thought I would add my findings on new cell. I have a mountain bike fitted with a BBS02 C961 controller, when I got it about a year ago it came with a Chinese dolphin battery 11ah, I was very pleased with its performance as I knew no better!, where I live we have about a 2/10th of a mile hill to exit the estate, I run the unit on power level 2 with good amount of peddling, by the time I get to the top of the hill the power meter would show a steady 3 bars or even dip to two, then recover once I got cycling on the flat, through my ride it would constantly flicker down 2 bars on any kind of a hill, but could get my 20 miles out of it and just bout dead by the time I got home.
I seen at “Luna Cycles” they advertised a new improved cell with updated Panasonic cells, with a 13.5ah capacity. I spotted a fantastic cyber Monday deal they were running and snapped up a rear rack 52v Panasonics unit, Eric was most helpful in his advice and contact answering any questions, it was shipped promptly, I fitted it two days ago, I could immediately feel the difference, I cleared the hill with less effort on power two, no flicker on the power meter and proceeded around my route, and average moving speed in town with lots of stops and starts of 18 mph for 20 miles, I was truly amazed to arrive home with still a full four bars showing, today out again 18.7 miles up some steep hills and again back with a full cell, I think I could easily get 30 miles plus, well impressed with this unit which also came with the uprated 52v 3A charger.
The downside is, he just brought out a even better smaller package same power, the shark, anyone want to buy a rear rack unit!!!!
