In Uk there are new nexus 8 (red band) IGH on ebay for just £109!
I raced this hub in greenpower for years with about a kilowatt through it.

I read a blog post recently about a nexus 3 speed holding up against the fury of the Tangent Ascent kit (3220 version)...I know another build with that kit has run through a Rohlof too...maybe that was the 3210 kit actually but similar torque.

I am about to see how much abuse an Alfine 8 can take with the Tangent 3220 kit too
