The DEA super chase boats are (were) all confiscated "Cigs" boats. This is from first hand knowledge from the 80's.

Maybe,..as long as its only a short run.
Even with 240kWhrs of battery, you wont get far if you use even half of the 1600kW available.

So, ..who do we think is supplying those cells ?...

...the battery is the result of the cooperation between Mercedes-AMG GmbH in Affalterbach and Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains Ltd. With their headquarters in Brixworth, England,

.... Cigarette integrates four high-tech batteries with a total of 48 modules and 3456 cells which generate a total capacity of 240 Kilowatt hours and an electric output of 2400 Kilowatts

Other than 2200 kg of batteries, there is no mention of the weight of the 12 motor powertrain !

Other than the fact that they are Germany based, do you have any other reason for thinking Li-Tec ?
PS: a little number juggling suggests that they are 18Ahr pouch cells,weighing about 600gms each.
PPS: .. am i wrong in thinking that the "concept" boat is just a CGI ???

Yes, they are a part of Mercedes corp. It's a partnership deal with another corp.
