Miami Sun Trike Battery Compartment Dimensions

Hi,

I'm converting a friends Sun trike over to electric. I see they make an electic model and it has a battery case mounted under the rear basket. I was planning on putting the batteries in the same place. I can buy this part but I don't know its dimensions. I want to make sure there is enough room in them for whatever batteries I decide on. I can make my own box, but, it would be nice if this one will fit my needs.

Does anyone out there have one of these trikes and could supply me with the dimensions?

On my schwinn, wich is similar, the bottom of the basket measures 16"x19" . I built my own battery box, bigger, about 20"x20" and mounted the basket on top of it. There was room for more batteries than I could carry without bending rims and breaking spokes.
