Alright folks,
Thought I’d share one of my recent “I probably spent way too much time on this” projects with the crew here. If anyone’s going to appreciate a custom micro-moto electric Frankenstein, it’s you beautiful maniacs in this corner of the endless sphere.
So here it is. The Legendary Honda CBR 10RR. No, that’s not a typo. And no, Honda definitely didn’t make this. I did. In my garage. Armed with a pile of mismatched parts, too many late-night ideas, and a complete lack of concern for proportion. This thing is basically a tiny terror dressed like a sportbike. It won’t outrun a Tesla. It might not even outrun a motivated jogger. But it absolutely crushes in the category of “Most Likely to Get You Stopped at a Gas Station by a Curious Dad.”

5ft 90lbs Wifey. I told her this thing tops out at 20 ish... She says "cute" and hits 28mph in flip flops!

Here’s the breakdown of what’s packed into this mini machine:
48V 8Ah Lithium-Ion Battery
Originally from a Jetson Haze. Now it’s living its best life in this tiny electric menace. It’s not breaking any range records, but it’s more than enough for parking lot hooning, sidewalk surfing, and short-lived freedom from adult responsibilities.
48V 500W Hub Motor and Controller (with key ignition)
Yep, it has a key. And yes, turning it makes me feel like I’m firing up a superbike instead of a glorified e-scooter. Twist the throttle and you’re met with the sweet hum of barely-contained excitement. Topped out around 20-something MPH, depending on wind, tire pressure, and how many snacks I’ve had that day.
Element Racing Forks
Because putting stock forks on a machine this dramatic felt like an insult. These give it a solid stance and actually do a decent job of absorbing the chaos I regularly subject this bike to. Style and function finally agreed on something.
Custom Orange Brake Caliper
Is it high-performance? Not really. Does it match the vibes? Absolutely. It stops when it needs to, and it looks fantastic doing it.
DNM Rear Shock
This thing brings actual suspension to the rear end, which means fewer surprises from mystery potholes and slightly fewer spine compressions. It rides surprisingly well for something that looks like it was built in a cartoon.
Headlight, Horn, and Alarm
Functional headlight for those bold enough to ride at night. The horn sounds like an overcaffeinated hamster, but it gets attention. And yes, it has an alarm that yells at me every time I forget to disarm it, which is almost always. A totally unnecessary feature that somehow makes it feel way more legit.
All in all, this was never meant to be practical. It’s a fun-sized experiment in chaos and creativity. I just wanted to share the ridiculousness with the only group I know that might actually understand why someone would take a Jetson battery and turn it into a sportbike tribute. Keep building, keep tinkering, and keep letting your projects get just weird enough. I post more pics when my custom Honda decals arrive. Until then...
Ride it like you stole it...
with only 12% battery left!
