hello all

ive made a silly "drift" electric go kart out of a kettle car, an electric golf trolley and some left over ebike controller+bits.

im overvolting a 12v motor to 24vish and last time i did this i melted the plastic brush holders in the motor :(

luckily i managed to find the exact same golf trolly unit at my local charity shop "again" and it only cost me 3 pounds :)

the motor unit is sealed, which more than likely added to the fatal heat build last time. so now ive drilled 4 rather large holes right next to the brushes in the motor end cap casing.

this seem sufficient enough.... but as the title of this thread suggests id like to add a fan. A fan that pushes air though a pipe rather than a regular pc-fan type.

can anyone suggest some smalish 12v pump/piped fans that would be good.

thanks in advance
jim

For high fan static pressure you want a backwards curved blade centrifugal fan or a turbine style fan (also called centrifugal sometimes) like that out of a vacuum.
