I was looking on Hobbyking for some batteries and came upon these.

They are 10,000mAh (10 Ah) and 10C Discharge (100A) with 20C burst for 10 sec. (200A) which is definitely adequate for a 48v Scooter or Bike since most (normal)will only be drawing about 50A cruising and 100A during full acceleration. Definitely a considerable choice. I plan on running two in series for 12s 10Ah on my scooter, since they will just fit in the space where two 12v 5Ah would barely fit. (I have since taken the original ESC out so there is more space, to be fair)

Whats amazing is that they are almost the same size as a 5000mAh 6s. Twice the capacity for about the same dimensions and weight. I guess that comes from the 10C discharge rating, huh? :)

well double ho hum too.

you can go read the thread and if you have evidence that contradicts the data that icecube produced then you can post it up there on the thread dedicated to this battery.

I run a pair of 16Ah Multistars on my BBS02 750 watt 25A MTB and they are perfect for the job.
I have run it up to 1230Watts peak with no noticeable sag.(Wattmeter installed)
I have used 12Ah out of them at most and they were still as good as when full.
Gonna buy some more if they ever come back in stock.

Definitely agree with the sagging issue at low C rates.

But for the price and the pack consistency (all 12 of my cells have near identical discharge curves) you can't complain.
