Hello, is this 48v250wats like its stamped on the motor? or is this the real 3000w motor?

What does your own common sense say about a 45mm stator motor weighing in at 8,3kg?

its the real motor. looks like it may have come from the european group buy that Merlin was doing. I think he had them stamp it 48v250w to make it look legal. Maybe he can confirm this though

That,s mad!! i would buy it but i am in the process of buying the same motor from an ES member, but If i had the money i have it for a spare

Many ebike motor companies will engrave whatever you want on the sideplates. If your country has a 250W power limit in order to be legal to ride on the streets, then some customers ask for 250W to be engraved on it. This motor can easily use 5,000W, and a typical power system uses 72V X 70A

Even under the specs of the motor it will be very very low wattage. I think its just their laziness more then anything else.

For example I see 450W listed under the 3kw motor.

it's 5000 watt or more depends on the controller but easy 3000 watt
