Its taken me awhile to get this far, and unfortunately it looks like I might have to wait until this winter to purchase the battery (about the only thing I have left to buy)

to make myself feel better I hauled it outside to get some nice pics. sucks to see it sitting still when it looks like it wants to go fast.

Beautiful! You're about ready for the ultimate wingsuit video...ride it WOT near the cliff's edge and launch yourself off the bike.

haha cool stunt, and I'd be happy to launch someone elses bike, but if you think I am going to launch a bike I've spent a year piecing together you're crazy ;)

Absolutely stunning. If I was you I sure as heck wouldn't force myself to wait until the battery was installed, and go find some downhill runs to test it :)

Launch you, not the bike. That's is unless you get Red Bull to pay for the bike along with a big fee for you.

I'd bet flying a wingsuit is even more of a blast than it looks. There's gotta be quite a bit of room for development of the suits to get more lift and improve the glide ratio. What kind of ratio are the getting with the lastest and greatest suits?

there's been a lot of dev in the last 5 years actually. I'm sure there is always room for improvement but they are getting close to human capability. its pretty impressive the innovation that's gone into the suits. glide ratios now are in the 3-1 maybe 4-1 for a lucky stretch. much beyond that and the suits will need to be augmented with exo-skeleton assist. the limitation is the human shoulder/pectoral muscles as they just aren't able to support the pressures of the wing loading on bigger wings.

I have indeed ridden it. the other photos can be found here

I just oversprung for my weight and looked at a suspension chart, cant remember what spring I ended up with.

its in storage for winter, but hoping to upgrade to a new controller, as the battery and motor could handle a lot more power. the mini-e is great, but you get used to the speed and hunger for more faster :p
