Great day riding 'the strand' in Los Angeles - from Torrance up to the Marina and back -South Bay - is the way.

No, i gutted the rear wheel as it was fried when i was given the bike. BBSHD is overkill for it - (and why not, eh?)

BBSHD is a great motor. Plus you get to run it through the gears. I rode along the strand once, but stayed on the paved walkway. Nice area.

I used to ride from Temescal in north Santa Monica to King Harbor in Redondo quite frequently. It was always nice no matter the weather. It never seems worth going east of Lincoln or Hwy 1 if at all possible.

You are damn right - i prefer west of Sepulveda any day. I did hear about a trail from Baldwin Hills lookout park to playa del rey as well. Next time
