Unlike the majority of e-bikes presented in this forum, my bike is only 250w nominal and has a quite minimal setup. Normal people never notice its electric and feel amazed by my "powerfull" speed uphill
This is a mountain bike for pedalling, I am still young at 43.
I installed a kit of front hub geared motor from Ciclotekstore. I modified the controller in order to work only with thumb throttle, I stripped the pedal assist, lcd monitor, etc. I have made the controller waterproof with silicone so it can be outside and not overheat during slow hill climbing.

The photo shows my off-road setup with a Multistar 6s 10c battery. The original 2c battery that came with the kit heats to much with slow speed climbing.

I recomend these Ciclotekstore motor kits, they have torque and are strong, I have done serious mountain biking with hard trail descents and it still rolls fine after 2 years.

Wow, that's sick. I love the element of surprise you have on normal cyclists with a hub like that.

Is that a sine wave controller?

I also love the element of surprise of my "cheating" setup!
I also want to avoid police atenttion because its illegal without a pedelec system.
It is a sine wave controller, very small, rated for 24v although it has handled 11s lipos...
