NC brakes with Phaserunner/SuperHarness possible?

My throttle works if the brakes aren't plugged in.
V6 Phaserunner Suite sans CycleAnalyst, Magura MT5e brakes without regen motor, a 4-pin to 2x2-pin splitter on a SuperHarness and Grin Throttle. SH's light goes from red to yellow when brakes are connected and pressed. One and both cause failure. I've tried Edit -> Edit Parameters -> addresses 212:unchecked, 247:[all inputs], 247 and 249: [all inputs and configs] and 1953:[up a digit].. to no avail. When I press the throttle while connected to the brakes the Dev Screen shows my Throttle and Brake Voltage starting high at .63 and going down to .05. As well, prior to pressing it for the first time upon rebooting the same voltage reads .93 at rest. I'm using PAS and Throttle, set to "PAS or Throttle" from the drop down. is this correct? I also tried moving the regen voltages higher than max throttle voltage to evade regen with no effect.
Is it the splitter, suite or (hopefully not) brakes that needs changing?

The brakes are 2-pinned, Superharness 4-pinned. These were the brakes offered by Grin and assured by email that they'd work with the Bafang G62, V6 Phaserunner kit and splitter I'd ordered from them so I'm a bit confounded. This leads me to believe it's a PR Suite adjustment that needs to be made. I can't understand why the cats at Grin don't add a simple checkbox to just eliminate all the regen confusion.

Some brakes are normally-closed instead of the more common normally-open. If that's the case, simply plugging in the brakes will make it look like they are engaged.

When you pull the brakes, does the throttle then work?

If that's the case, there's likely an option somewhere to reverse the behavior (there was on the CA anyway). I did a quick scan of the SH manual and didn't see a way to reverse that behavior, but you could reach out to grin to see if there's someway to swap it.

Wow this is confusing. My Magura MT5e is a Higo Opener which is Normally-Closed. I don't have a CA. Anyone know the Suite settings?

I'm unclear here. Did you purchase the brakes from them, or somewhere else and asked if they would work? The one's they sell are NO. (Maguras, as far as I know, are basically the only ebike brakes on the market that even have a NC variant.)

I do not believe there is a Phaserunner option to control this; it'd have to be changed in the superharness which is where the interpretation of brake signal is happening.

I did no, as they were not an option with my kit and discovered after purchasing twice so I found them locally. Is it possible to change the SH in that way? What would the cleanest solution be without making this more complicated by hacking or rewiring? Would addition of a CycleAnalyst solve this or am I stuck needing to replace the brakes?
