I'm leaning toward scrapping the UPP 52v battery I have due to many comments about fires PLUS I bought almost 2 years ago and just getting to the install. I volt tests at 51.4 but wouldnt indicate fully charged or charging. Could be nothing but it's making me uneasy about mounting in a hard to find Bullitt cargo bike.
Soo.....what brands of 52v 22ah+ batteries should I look into? I found a few so far. Was offered $800 to build one from a reputable company with LG cells.
Aegis Battery has 52v 30ah that would fit for $700 but no word on cells.
American Electric has a 52v 30ah that would fit $635 with samsung cells, no charger. Does take about a month though.
Em3ev had a 24ah in a nice case. With a charger than can be set to 80% charged, be about $800 shipped, take a couple weeks
