Hello all. Long time lurker first time poster.

This is 1(short) of 2(long) posts I'm making regarding issues I'm having both with my original HD build & new 02 build. Both are electrical in nature and my frustration level has hit critical.

Does anyone know of an ebike expert near the northern Arizona area specifically knowledgeable with Bafang crank drive systems. I'm to the point where I'm willing to travel, even to other states within reason, to get these builds running again. I have tried to resolve issues myself but have run out of ideas and/or expertise and am looking to take these bikes to someone to fix for me. I will detail issues in second post below.

Here's the long version of the above post.

I recently purchased a pre-owned HP Scorpion FS for my second build. Purchased BBS02 system with standard C695 monitor. Only wiring modification I had to do was extension of speed sensor and battery to motor wiring done by soldering along with replacing Anderson with xt-90s pigtailed connectors. I also grooved BB in order to help keep motor from rotating as I wanted a forward bottom mounting instead of the common placement against front derailleur post which positions motor too high for my liking.

Maiden voyage of 10miles went well. I programmed monitor to 9 lvls of assist. Next ride of 25 miles motor rotated up last few uphill miles but continued to operate. Back home rotated motor back down & re-tightened. On next outing monitor threw 21H code, speed sensor had shifted (most likely motor rotation pulled wiring). System worked briefly (about 1/4 mile if that) after much fiddling but kept throwing 21H code. Cut shrink tube off to access connections & soldering joints all looked good but still showing code. After several attempts to rectify speed sensor issue, monitor then threw 30H code. Pulled DP-14 monitor of my first BBSHD build & plugged it in but wouldn't power on at all??? Checked all connections & resoldered wiring splices. I'm lost but at least I've got my BBSHD DF to ride .....

Last few times riding original HD build bike wouldn't power on initially. Fiddling briefly with wiring around xt-90s connectors, battery to motor, I would hear a click & it would power up. Being preoccupied with 02 trike build issues I didn't dig in to this figuring it was an easy fix, must be a weak connection/break in the wiring near connection or xt-90 itself. HD system quickly failed to power up soon after. Checked Anderson connections which seemed to be failing so cut & spliced out soldering directly to xt-90s which I also inspected for weakness, none found. Still not powering up. Checked wiring to motor with volt-meter, power is getting to motor but monitor is not powering on.

I've exhausted both my patience & expertise and am down on both builds. I need someone else to work on these. Refer to my first post above this one.

If I were at home I would come look at it just for an excuse to go to Sedona. However I'm currently on a road trip and probably won't be back in AZ until July.
You should edit the title to "Help Needed Northern AZ".
Good luck

For obvious reasons, it's a good idea to give your posts informative titles. In case not obvious, well, people have limited time and interest so someone who can repair your thing might pop up within the timeframe of this post but neglect to actually read it due to the uninformative title.

Anyway it sounds like damaged something when the wires got pulled. Open the unit and verify continuity from your wiring to the board or wherever it terminates.

edit: oh right post pics of your soldering just so we can see that it's not horrible.
