Hey guys,
I'd like to increase the range on my boosted board and it seems like the most popular way is to attach an external battery pack. Even though I've read quite a bit on other people's mods about creating a battery pack and installing it, I'm still a completely physics noobie when it comes to dealing with battery voltages, watts, power, etc.

I've read threads like these: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=70234&hilit=boosted+board+range

Watched videos similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtlHwAooN2o

And I'm still really confused on creating a battery pack. I'm worried that if I do it myself I'll mess up and something bad may happen like the battery pack catching on fire or something along those lines.
Could you guys help me with simple step instructions on how to create a battery pack and attach it to my boosted board? The range I'm shooting for is 8-15 miles with an external battery pack.
Thanks in advance for the help!

You can buy a 10s battery pack from a place like this: http://www.batteryspace.com/37V-Li-Ion/Polymer-Battery-Pack-Modules.aspx

Then charge it with a balancing charger to the same voltage as the boosted pack. Solder some wires on boosted's cables where he showed in the video. Solder a connector on those wires that's the same connector (except male) as the new lithium ion battery. Hold it in place on the board somewhere with tape or some mounting hardware. Done! Anyone else with some advice?
