First of all thank you for taking the time to read this and possible help me.
Im going to attempt to make my mountain board electric like many of you but with all these ideas i'm super confused.

Board: MBS Comp 95
Motors: Turnigy sk3 192 2x
ESC: Turnigy trackstar ⅕ 200a 8s Will this work it? talks about Opto what is that?
Batteries you tell me

Okay so I dont know much just plz let me know if this set up with work and if any of it is overkill

You'll need a clamp which clamps onto the trucks with a motor mount. You'll then need a pulley wheel or chain sprocket to attach to the wheel.
ESC + Motor + Batteries will be needed as well.

For MBS, You can use the 8S ESC from Turnigy Trackstar but I've heard issues with it as well. Opto means that you must provide receiver power and it is not built into the ESC. This is usually typical for high voltage escs.

Take a look at all the previous threads emtnboards around here and you can notice a trend of parts and what people usually buy.

If you have specific questions, you can always ask.

Hubmotor truck.

Having more power transmission stages is unnecessary.

Have you seen a similar build to be based on?

We need more info as size available for each component.

Have you chosen the frame? how about the range of cost do you have?

Battery will be between 40% - 60% of the investment depending on the performance do you want

The smart people was just an attention getter haha
I can make the motor mounts and do all the wiring and so on. The things I want to know is if my motor, esc, and batteries will work together and if there will be enough power and speed.
My budget is pretty much unlimited.

So right now im looking at the sk3 192 and the red brick esc not sure on the battery.

If you guys could just give me different options of combination and let me know which combination would have the most power and so on.
Thank you
