Neodymics Cyclemotor Appearance

In response to comments about our Cyclemotor here on this list, I added a shroud to improve the appearance. This is translucent polycarbonate, 1/16 inch thick.

Ok.. this is probably a personal preference thing, but personally i prefer the original version. :wink:

This reminds me of a vehicle in Star Wars !!!!

But hey, i'm one of those weirdo's that like the tech look of the original look vs most on here that seem not to.

How does that affect wind resistance?? Effect? I can never remember which one to use.

Well I would probably want a clear one 8)

But it covers more than some other windshields I've seen. Which the more you can cover the better it will be at deflecting the air around you.

Wind resistance does not change much. Seems like the same Watts per MPH. I suspect that the small increase in frontal area is just about offset by the more aerodynamic finish and shape. There may be a small increase in efficiency with the shroud when riding in crouched position. (versus no shroud and crouched)
