Hi everyone, after weeks of reading and thinking, it's time for me to start my own build.

- Deck : Loaded Vanguard 38 Flex 3 http://www.ballistyx.com.au/catalogue/1659/loaded-vanguard-42
  • Trucks: Caliber
    Wheels: 70mm Orang
    Bearings: Red Abec 7
- ESC : 2 VESC
- Battery : ???
- Motor setup : 2x Sensored E-Power Motor 5065 170KV 2200W
- Pulley Size : ??
- Gear Ratio : ??
- Remote : Arduino + bluetooth

I have access to a CNC to make the motor mount and I have my own 3d printer.
I want to use the board to commute, 11km (one way) with medium hills.

What battery setup would you recommend for my use ? I do not own any kind of charger.

enertion space cell gets a recommendation from me. Only thing is you might want to go 12s, where as the space cell is 10s. still a wicked battery though:

I was thinking about it, i want a solution where i can bring the charger with me to charge up the batteries at work.

ya, the charger is really compact. Not as big as a balance charger, more like you standard laptop charger. You also get all the benefits of easy charging, a display showing percentage of battery, and an on/off switch built in. plus the battery is pretty thin too.

The downside would be finding a way to mount it without deck flex becoming an issue...

Where can i find the right cables to connect both vesc to the space battery ?

Also I think i will just buy the deck with paris truck and no wheels, and grab wheels and mount from enertion.

83mm enertion power wheels
36t enertion drive hub
14t 5mm htd motor pulley
265t enertion drive belts x qty4
enertion abec 9 bearings

Hi!

Not sure the Paris truck is compatible with enertion mount; i may mistake but from memories it fits only caliber.

Mine here fit Paris if you want.
