Over this past weekend I created a new club, "Los Angeles Electric Motorcycle and Scooter Club". I am trying to find a central place to have a "meet and greet". I will keep you all posted.

Sounds like fun. But, LA is a big place...when you say "central" what part of LA were you thinking of as central?

Have a confirmation date for a meet and greet at Autobooks Aerobooks in Burbank on August 10th from 10 am to 2pm. This will be the first time to meet other EV supporters and local businesses who believe in electric vehicle transportation.

Reading material, discussion and beverage will be supplied. Don't forget to check out the book store!

I will update as date approaches.

And you are going to have a charging station....right? At about 16 miles from home I would need about 75 or 80 minutes at a 120v outlet to have enough juice to get home on my ebike....

I will ask the owners of the shop if they will allow to use there outlet. I will let you know.(laemsclub@gmail.com) send me your email.

Having Los Angeles as a hub for vehicle activities, I made this as a reference point. Burbank is few miles out of the Los Angeles but there are other locations that I am looking out
to spread the word on electric vehicles.

Los Angeles Trade Technical College has a huge automotive department but did not get back in time for this round.

Cerritos College in Norwalk is also huge in composites and industrial fabrication.

Autobooks/Aerocars can let one connection at a time. They have computers hooked up to other electrical outlets.

I attended LATTC way back in 92-94 and occasionally go to events there.
Cerritos College back in 2005, great composites program.

E-beach,

From what I can see Burbank city hall is a couple miles away near Magnolia and Glenoaks blvd.
I spoke to Autobooks Aerobooks and they said they can have you plug in.

As an emergency plan.
I will ask Harlan over at Hollywood Electrics to give you "electric boost" if need be.
