Yea, like Wojtek said, dont expect any emails. I never even got a confirmation email with my order. In fact, 2 and a half weeks later when i started chasing it my order status on crystalyte europe website still said "processed" which it said about 10 minutes after i placed it. I was waiting for a "shipped" or something like that. Only communication i ever got of any kind from crystalyte europe was when i called the international number and spoke to someone on the phone. Other than that they are useless at communication.

You can run CA on sensorless controller from Lyen, it is going cost you extra $10 dollars for adding CA wiring and connector to the controller. You even can ask Lyen give you a pointer how to install the CA wiring with the Lyen sensorless controller. He would very happy to help give you a guide.

I think Spacey is the one using Lyen sensorless controller with the HS motor. I am not sure if his Lyen controller include CA connector.

Electric wheels.de. Do have any instructions on where to place the ss413a on the motor. Has the hs motor already got some kind of mounting already installed in the motor for this sensor? Even better do you have so pictures showing one the proceedure thanks

Hi Everyone,

My freewheel doesn't seem to fit the Hub properly. The freewheel is dragging against the hub. You can see the mark in the attached photo.

It looks like I need to add a spacer. Would a spoke guard usually act as the spacer? What am I doing wrong.

You need a 1.5mm freewheel spacer.FreeWheelSpacer [800x600].jpg

There should have been a dia 35.2mm x dia 40mm x 2mm thick spacer ring included with the hub motor when you unpacked it.

Great job installing the hallsensors do the two outside leads have to be connected in a certain configuration?

I still have the packaging and have double checked, x-lyte europe didn't send the spacer. I've ordered a 1.5mm one which should do the trick. I'm not very impressed with x-lyte europe. Thanks for the help everyone.

Hi mylittlepony,
I'm in the same case for the freewheel, I also ordered the hub from clyte europe and they don't provide any spacer.
Where have you ordered the 1.5mm spacer ?

Thanks

Would it be possible to ask for the wiring diagram thanks

Sure, I have a few 8) Crystalyte wiring diagrams on my website:
http://electricwheels.de/electrical%20wiring%20diagram%20for%20Crystalyte%20hub%20motors.html
This is the one for the motor connection.

Crystalyte Europe are rubbish placed my order over a week ago and have had no response from them. Not impressed at all. No tracking number no confirmation just to let one know that's is been dispatched.

They dont contact you ever. I had to call them (Belgium number) to get my tracking number to find out that the shipping company tried to deliver it 10 days earlier but "forgot" to leave a card so i never knew. My motor was sat in a local shipping warehouse for 10 days :( They are easy to speak to on the phone and did give me all the info i needed in the end but their lack of communications skills especially over email ( i emailed them 6 times over 2 months and did not EVER get ONE reply!) has lead me to make the decision not to purchase from them in future.

What size freehub are you using that it rubs?

7,8,9 speed?

would i still need a spacer with the 7speed cassette or only way is to put it on? Just got mine today, no spacer either...

Yep, otherwise your chain will hit the side cover of the motor.

So how long from you placing the order did the hub arrive in the uk? I am thinking that maybe it's here but I am not aware either even though it's only been a week since I made placed the order. What company actually makes the delivery is it parcel force, royal mail or some other courier? Thanks
