New LED option brings LED headlights to UK Prius-extra £895

Great idea particularly if most of your driving is at night but IMO £895 is nuts (High Hanging Fruit :lol: ?):

We were curious about the option packs for the 2010 Toyota Prius in the UK back when the price was announced back in May. While LED tail and stoplights are standard on the new Prius, Toyota has now announced a special LED Tech Pack that will be available for the UK version of the Prius T Spirit trim level for an extra £895. Toyota said that this new option will be available because customers requested the LED headlights. The package adds those lights, plus the electrochormatic auto-drimming mirrors. The highly-efficient LEDs can "cut the vehicle's electricity consumption by up to 30 per cent."

This is pretty sweet I never thought about LED headlights but that's cool if they can make it available for cheap

that wount save much energy. one would be better off spending the cash on, well anything green other than that.
