Newbie looking for advice BBSHD / SPEEED App

Hi all just signed up so hello all.
I would like a bit of help please, I have recently fitted a BBSHD to my fat bike and on testing I would like to tweek the PAS settings.
I have the 860ml display which will give me 3 - 5 or 9 PAS levels but I have only ever used 5 its what I am used too.
Now looking at the speeed app it only allows 9 levels on the PAS settings. On reading the hackers guide on Electricbike-blog on the settings he uses he states if using 5 levels of PAS to use settings 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 9
So do I put these settings into the first 5 PAS settings on the Speeed app and leave 6 - 7 - 8 and 9 blank ? or add these settings to 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 9 and leave 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 blank ?
If someone could please explain this so I can run 5 levels of PAS that would be great

As I remember it you make 1&2 the same, 3&4 the same, 5&6 the same and so on.

Depends on display type.
It's:
0 - 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 9
or
0 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 9

Btw if you want to get the most out of your BBSHD, I would go straight for Daniel Nilsson's custom firmware: BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

But you won't be able to use the speeed app to configure settings, you need to use Daniel's program as well.

I have the P860ML display it will do 3 - 5 or 9 PAS levels but I like using 5 as always used that on my bike when I was running a hub motor. looking at the settings I may go for the 0 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 9 Thanks
