the roll that a car has scares me, especially when i drove an SUV. i then had a lowered car with an aftermarket sport suspension, which eliminated a lot of the body roll and it made me feel a lot more cvomfortable. but im a guy that loves the white knuckle driving and carving through corners. so i guess what applies to me doesnt apply to everyone though. thats just my opinion.gogo said:Citroen developed the ability to cause "negative roll" (leaning into the turn) with their active suspensions, but found the public liked the positive roll they were used to. People didn't even like "flat" neutral roll and so Citroen gave their customers just enough positive roll to make it seem familiar.

Those wheels tilt too like a bike when you lean into a corner.
Interesting, whats faster around corners, a super bike or an F1 car? It may not make much difference other than comfort.
Long drives wears you out trying to compensate for inertia shifts from centre of gravity. Still a good idea.
very good find vanilla ice. it was an interesting read. i didnt think that they had the technology back then. popular mechanics is awesome.vanilla ice said:http://books.google.com/books?id=ampHn2Nk2_EC&pg=PA60&dq=active+suspension+volvo&source=gbs_toc_r&cad=1
This technology has been around a while and can be applied to regular old cars too increase cornering and braking performance!
