Problem with Bluetooth is that it is a very short distance com link, normally reliable within 30 ft. If you are inside an apartment or a restaurant, the device is likely to be out of range.

Oh. Good point Mr. Mad Horny Guy. (Although usually "park" in line-of-sight view of my ride.) Ah well, back to GPS tech I guess.
